Loooovveeee this formula! Holla to all my beauties with dry skin, have you noticed that for the most part all foundations that are marketed for dry skin are either light coverage, too watery or wipe off in two seconds?! This is not the case when it comes to the Hourglass ‘Illusion’. I know it is called a ‘Skin Tint’ but it is Medium/Full coverage, and build able (which it doesn’t need). It makes your skin look so soft and hydrated and bouncy and beautiful!

The formula is creamy and obviously, I still use my Beauty Blender to apply, and set it with either the Smashbox Halo Hydrating Perfecting Powder (which I reviewed here) or the Bobbi Brown Skin Weightless Powder. Even after setting with powder, my skin still managed to look dewy! This formula also wears really well, but that probably has to do a lot with skin type. If you have oily skin, I’m not sure how it will hold up.

I know it comes with a heavy price tag, but it may be worth using during the winter or buying it once and going through the whole tube because of the sodium hyaluronate. Using that everyday for a while may just be the cure your skin needs. If you can, it’s worth trying!

If you’ve tried it, let me know your thoughts!
